Drying Out

It's still cloudy this morning, but at least its not raining.

So business can start to pick up again. What business is left? Well, the orchards still have apples, for instance.

I'm not sure what these guys are doing, but they are in front of the apple trees.

Corn chopping is, and has been going on. (More on that at a later date.) These workers are making the difficult first pass. The spout has to be aimed up high, because instead of the truck being beside the chopper, it is behind.

Its also dry enough to fertilize fields.

     And also to corrugate.
Winter is coming and the farmers can feel it. They'll be putting an extra rush on their work to make sure it gets done. But the sun isn't done yet and I think it will come out today. If not, it won't be for lack of effort. It's already trying really hard.
