Another Update

A few of you might be familiar with the fact that Idaho is well associated with Potatoes. You may have been confused then, as to why I haven't had a post on them. Well, the thing is, I can't find any. Not in Owyhee County anyhow. I'll broaden my search and head a little further out into the county. For now, here's an update on some of the other crops.

Wheat and Alfalfa, side by side.
The wheat is doing much better now that the Striped Rust problem has been addressed. As they are pollinated, then the seeds will start to grow.
The alfalfa has started to bloom.

They can range from deep purple like this, to nearly white. They all function pretty much the same though. This one is particularly developed, and most others are just getting started. Soon it will be time to set the bees loose on them. But, once again, that's a different post for a different day.
